The foundation of this infrastructure is the raised
access floor installation, this should offer a quick and easy access to
the under-floor area.
Modular Integrated Systems offers two main types of
panel :

- Screw down, steel painted cement core filled
panel, manufactured in Malaysia by
TAKO.
- Gravity supported galvanised steel case with
high performance wood chip or calcium silicate core, this system is
usually stringerless This panel manufactured in the
UK by Hewetson / Kingspan
PLC. This panel has been developed with the aid of feedback from the Asian
market place, into one of the leading products in
the raised floor World and has become the number one seller in the
UK.

The standard panel is available with carpet / vinyl
tiles or high pressure vinyl. MIS has also used more exotic
materials like marble, glass, ceramics name but a few, to achieve an
aesthetic effect without compromising the under-floor access.
